EU stitches Blair up PDF Print E-mail

NOIt looks like the Popular Alliance were right on the button in predicting Blair would sell the UK down the river, he has given away yet more power allowing the creation of a corrupt superstate.

At around 05:00 local time on Saturday morning - following a full day and a half of tense discussion - a triumphant Angela Merkel, German chancellor, announced to press that a deal had been struck and that Europe would be able to move out the "reflection" phase it has been in since the draft EU constitution was rejected two years ago.

And no wonder she is pleased, lets take a look at what our incompetent weak and idiotic government has given away.

The first thing to note is that the “constitution” has now been revived and Under the plans, member states will use the mandate agreed at the summit as the basis for negotiations on a new treaty, which is to be done and dusted by the end of the year and ratified in all member states by mid-2009, ahead of the next European elections.

This basically means they are going to push ahead with the constitution whether we like it or not, the undemocratic process of making new laws will intensify and new powers will “have to be” be gradually given to the EU by our government.

Bumbling Blair has signed up to giving Europe a “Legal Personality”,  which makes the EU a state in its own right. He has also approved the way for a European Foreign Minister, in all but name.

The loonatic almost allowed France and Germany to become protectionist economies within the EU which basically means , they can sell as much Gas and Electricity to the UK but we are not allowed to sell our Gas and Electric into Europe.

This would have been a massive bargaining tool for the EU to force the UK to give away all its powers in 2009.

France managed to get the phrase "undistorted competition" removed from being one of the objectives of the EU, with French voters thought largely to have voted against the constitution in May 2005 out of a fear that it would open the door to Anglo Saxon neo-liberalism, fortunately Gordon Brown spotted the wool being pulled over Blair eyes and phoned Blind Blair telling him to demand a protocol to protect the EU's internal market, although the Popular Alliance will investigate this further as all may not be as it seem as it's likely British businesses will suffer from this directive and one way business traffic is a distinct possibility.

Mr Blair has also brought the spectre of a Common Defence Policy even closer” and the EU now gets a permanent President which basically means a superstate is definitely on the cards.

Mr Blair had gone to Brussels with four "red lines" on human and social rights, foreign policy and tax and benefits which he did not want crossed before a deal could be made. He said the summit had secured all of Britain's four key demands and meant the treaty would not require a referendum in the UK. It would, he said, allow the government to take on those parts of EU judicial and crime policy it chooses to, again, basically means ALL of them and that means allowing the EU to run our affairs. Merkel has said” "much of the old constitution substance has been maintained" according to chancellor Merkel.

Now EU leaders will return home to sell the result for domestic consumption, with next month's intergovernmental negotiations (IGC) to be stuff for technocrats and lower-level diplomats to deal with.

The Popular Alliance will be writing to Gordon Brown demanding a referendum as Blair has basically signed a “constitution” and the people must be allowed to vote despite what undemocratic Margaret Beckett says.

She said Britain was not a country which "governs by referendum", adding: "People buy into the notion that somehow some massive change has taken place. This is not a massive change."

A Popular Alliance spokesman said “Really Margaret, how can we believe any thing you say in the party of spin, deceit, lies and corruption, we don’t believe the EU and we certainly don’t believe you, a referendum MUST be put to the people as promised in your own manifesto”.

EU are about to be Conned PDF Print E-mail

FishyLet the EU con job begin, today, the weakest foreign secretary this country has ever known has come out and proclaimed "the UK government is clear... no deal is better than buying any old pig in a poke".

There were "significant differences" between nations on what should replace the aborted constitution, she said.

Prime Minister Tony Blair has said he will not compromise in areas including foreign policy and tax and benefits.

Mrs Beckett told the House of Commons: "We want an EU that takes action where it's needed on issues like climate security, economic reform or energy and leaves national government in charge of key areas including taxes, foreign policy, defence and their domestic economy."

On Monday, Mr Blair listed four so-called "red lines" that the UK government would not cross, also including a Charter of Fundamental Rights and EU-wide legislation on common law.

Daniel Hannan is a Tory MEP said Europe's leaders plan to keep as much of the constitution as they can, making only what Angela Merkel calls "the necessary presentational changes". Everything since has been choreography.

If you look very closely at Blair's four "red lines". The thing about them is that they are the same "red lines" he scrawled in advance of the original constitution in 2004.

However, this is not true. There were six "red lines" in those days, but two of them - over a common EU defence and the British budget rebate - have since been effaced.

The remaining four, however, are defined in such a way that it will always be possible to claim that they are intact. First, Euro-Blair says that he wants to preserve Britain's social security system.

Why he feels so strongly about it isn't clear - he forever complains that it is intractable to reform - but never mind: not even the most obsessive Europhile wants Brussels to take over national welfare states.

Second, he will keep English common law. Again, no one in Brussels wants to subvert the domestic jurisprudence of the member states.

What they want, rather, is to superimpose a federal law code, known as corpus juris, on the national ones.

And this is precisely what they are doing, harmonising civil and criminal proceedings, creating a new category of "crimes against the EU" and commissioning a federal police force, Europol, to investigate them.

Third, the Charter of Fundamental Rights won't be allowed to override national laws.

Again, Bumbling Blair is too late. Although the charter is not meant to have binding force, the commission and the European Court of Justice are already treating it as justiciable, and a new EU institution, the Human Rights Agency, in Vienna, is working full-time to ensure that everyone complies with it.

Having achieved all this already, Eurocrats don't need to bother about writing the charter into the text of the treaty.

Fourth, Blair claims that he will resist a common EU foreign policy. On the same day that he made this commitment, it was reported that the EU would engage more positively with Havana and start funding the Palestinian Authority.

What are these decisions if not a common foreign policy? Go to any overseas capital, and you will find an EU embassy that dwarfs any of the national missions. And we already have an EU foreign minister: the spivvy Spanish socialist, Javier Solana.

That, ultimately, is why there must be a referendum. It's not just the new extensions of EU power that merit a vote: it's the accumulated transfers of power to Brussels that have taken place in the 32 years since the last con job.

Cameron who has been quite since becoming the laughing stock of the Tory Party has done nothing to tackle the problem of Europe by keeping quite and hoping it all goes away.

The EU has since become one of the largest, if not the largest, corrupt, incompetent, fraudulent and criminal bureaucratic organisations on the planet earth and Blair has already been discussed as the next figure head president of this corrupt self serving cash cow that benefits no one.

The people of Britain must stop believing the main three parties when they say they have British interests at heart, they do not, they stopped doing that 32 years ago and only a true full policy political party that believes in real democracy, that is not far right or has corrupt MEPs milking the system can represent the people and give them what they want, “and that’s a voice and say in running our country”

The Popular Alliance are the only political party that will allow a referendum on the withdrawal from Europe, and we have pledged to honour the outcome and the will of the people.

There are other eurosceptic parties following our lead and now saying or leading people to believe they would also hold a referendum, but the Popular Alliance goes further and has a detailed democracy policy outlining some of the issues we would allow a referendum on.

You may read our policy HERE

Today we issued our 7th news letter with the pro’s and cons of EU membership, if you have any comments please feel free to use our forum and post any ides, suggestions or criticism on the subject.

To close this blog, all we will say is, watch Blair very closely, because believe us, he WILL betray the nation.

Satanic Verses MCB PDF Print E-mail

SVThe Popular Alliance has been watching very carefully as events unfold about the knighthood of Sir Salman Rushdie who wrote the book Satanic Verses.

The news of his Knighthood has sparked yet another Muslim outrage with Pakistan's Religious Affairs Minister Ejaz-ul-Haq causing uproar in parliament when he was accused of inciting violence during a debate of Sir Salman's knighthood.

"If someone commits suicide bombing to protect the honour of the Prophet Mohammad, his act is justified," he said

Obviously a few moments later the minister had to return to the floor of the assembly to say that he was not trying to condone or incite terrorism but to stress its origins.

The Popular Alliance cannot understand why they did not use the good old statement “I was taken out of context” which seems to be a terrorist’s best defence when they believe their collars are being felt.

But why hasn’t Blair and his appeasing cronies condemned this action, why has the foreign office not issued a strong warning that we will not tolerate terrorists even if they do happen to be in their government?

Perhaps he is too preoccupied dreaming of being the next EU president after he tries to sign away the UK’s sovereignty.

However, Pakistan's Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sher Afgan Khan Niazi, who proposed Monday's resolution in the National Assembly, said the knighthood would "encourage people to commit blasphemy against the Prophet Mohammad".

On Sunday, Iran also criticised the knighthood, saying praising the "apostate" showed Islamophobia among British officials.

We also have the so called “moderate” Muslim council of Britain sticking its two penneth worth in by issuing a statement on their website which reads as follows

MCB Response to Rushdie’s Knighthood

Tuesday 19 June 2007

Salman Rushdie earned notoriety throughout the world amongst Muslims for the highly insulting and vilifying manner in which he portrayed early Islamic figures. The granting of a knighthood to him can only do further harm to our country's image in the Muslim world. The MCB considers it yet another example of insensitivity to Muslim opinion that will only result in their further alienation.

"In the face of such provocation, the MCB urges Muslims everywhere to exercise calm and restraint. The best way to honour our beloved Prophet is to remember him, and tell fellow human beings of his love, compassion and mercy."

The Popular Alliance questions why it has not condemned the terror supporting Pakistan MP who was obviously inciting murder by calling for suicide bombers to rise up.

If you read the first paragraph, they are basically saying to all Muslims “do not integrate” as well as trying to whip up an incident with the word "provocation" to which they can reply if a bombing occurs , “well we told you so”

This extreme organisation needs to be banned for its shameful act of trying to alienate communities and “incite” unrest amongst the Muslims.

If Muslims do not like the book, then they don’t have to read it, it’s a simple choice, as is the choice to live in a western country where all are equal under ONE law to live in peace.

How To Save "Your" Money PDF Print E-mail

Have you actually tried to buy the full version of Microsoft Office lately  only to find the retail price can cost as much as £490?

The government (national and local) spends billions on this software which is used in schools, universities, hospitals, military, and councils, infact just about everywhere.

The Popular Alliance is going to let you into a little secret, and it is our gift to our Blog readers, that you can get a fully compatible and comparable Office suite for free and never run the risk of having Microsoft mess you up with their often buggy software.

Recently, some whiz who works for a local council pointed out that many American authorities were using this software and were saving millions of dollars in the process. The council decided to dip its big toe in the water and trialed the open source software and found it to be actually better in many areas than Microsoft’s expensive offering.

The Popular Alliance would legislate to ensure all government departments adopt this and other free open source software, including Linux on the majority of systems paid for by the taxpayer.

The author of this Blog was pointed to open office by our Party Chairman in Scotland and have delved deep into its quality and purpose only to find it is better than Microsoft in many ways and have found Word documents are easily converted to and from Microsoft Word, as are Excel spreadsheets, the suite will convert most, if not all formats.

Please find the link to free Office software HERE, and just download the appropriate suite for your operating system.

If you have any doubts, you can read a brief report from the BBC on this excellent product, and you can use it without any fears of violating any licence requirements.

Microsoft office comes with an email client called outlook, and this can be replaced with an excellent client called Thunderbird which also compliments the more secure and superior browser Firefox

Some people ask how we would save money if we got into power, and while UKIP, BNP, Veritas, English Democrats and all the other single issue brigade huff and puff on expensive unworkable ideas the Popular Alliance decided it was time to put into practice one of our many tax saving ideas.

So for one day only, instead of doom and gloom about honour killings, jihad, Blair and the EU, we thought we would show you a superb fully functional piece of office software that we would use in government saving billions in tax payers money, plus give our readers a freebie to boot.

Betrayed PDF Print E-mail

BistoThe four pro European political parties are not making any waves about the next EU president (probably a Mr A Blair) who will sit in power for 30 months as the figurehead of a dictatorship.

UKIP, which is crumbling and actually damaging the eurosceptic cause, has no comment about the reports that Blair is about to sign away the United Kingdom forever.

UKIP’s MEPs whose fingers are dripping with gravy have succumbed to the corrupt establishment they promised to fight on the public’s behalf.

The lying elite are gearing up to tell us that Blair is not signing a constitution but a treaty (which is the constitution, but under another name).

A referendum was promised on this issue, and it was a manifesto pledge, but the temptation of getting into the corrupt position of president for two and a half years is obviously a carrot that the ass Blair simply cannot refuse.

This is basically the same for the useless ineffectual UKIP MEP’s who have shown little or no spine in showing any form of direct action to draw attention to this scandalous betrayal of British democracy, but then again, why ruin a good thing and draw attention to themselves.

These same MEP’s put a few bleats on a crummy website that is never updated and expect that’s all that is required of them, when in fact, those who voted them in want these spineless losers to get their fingers out of the Bisto and actually do something to throw a spanner in the works or at the very least be nasty thorns in the side of Blair’s EU ambition and the EU itself.

Where is Kilroy Silk these days? Again, these people who were voted in have done absolutely nothing to rock the boat or embarrass the EU, all UKIP et al have done is stick snouts in the trough and feed greedily at the taxpayers expense and throw in a few news interviews now and then.

Come the next Euro elections, the eurosceptic movement have to think long and hard who they vote in, all of UKIP need to be thrown out on their ears and good solid activists need to be elected who will put the boot in and not stick their fingers into the gravy boat.

It probably does not matter which individuals or eurosceptic party the activists come from so long as they punch hard and kick the EU where it really hurts, but what we don’t want are self serving clowns that proclaim to be eurosceptic and then get very fat off the abundant gravy that is available in the fraudulent and corrupt dictatorship called the EU.

If you can find the word UKIP on this page or any comment by them, then you’re better people than we are:
