There is much news about the EU again, following yet more revelations that the so called Lisbon Treaty is exactly the same as the constitution rejected by France and Holland. The Labour party manifesto promised a referendum on this most important issue but has lied and cheated its way out of giving the people of Britain a democratic say by withdrawing the referendum following political pressure from both pro-EU MP's and the criminally corrupt establishment t the heart of the EU. The Lisbon Treaty has been claimed by most if not all leaders within the EU to be the same as the constitution, yet Gordon Brown claims it is not- who are the electorate to believe?, someone is lying, either the EU leaders or Gordon Brown. Yesterday, more evidence of Gordon Brown and his pip squeak tailors dummy Miliband are lying through there back teeth came from the Commons foreign affairs committee report who said that parts of the treaty mirror the abandoned EU Constitution. They were quoted as saying "We conclude that there is no material difference between the provisions on foreign affairs in the Constitutional Treaty which the government made subject to approval in a referendum and those in the Lisbon Treaty on which a referendum is being denied," the report said. And there we have it in a nutshell, Gordon Brown and his team of puppet pipsqueaks are lying and have broken their manifesto pledge. More can be read HERE At the same time as we have found out about the lies and deceit, a new campaign to get people interested in the Labour broken manifesto pledge is being carried out by “I want a referendum” who's website may be found HERE Jim Murphy who is the UK Europe minister is to face a poll in his own constituency It will be the first of 10 planned polls in UK marginal constituencies staged by I Want A Referendum.com. Scots Tory party vice-chair Richard Cook, who is behind the move, claimed the treaty was an EU constitution by another name. Mr Cook, the Conservative Westminster candidate in East Renfrewshire, denied it was purely a stunt to embarrass a UK minister on his home ground. He told BBC Scotland's Politics Show he believed the £30,000 polling exercise would come out in favour of a referendum. "This treaty transfers powers to the European Union," he said. "I stood on a platform with Jim Murphy, with the Liberal Democrats, and we all had in our manifestos that we would give people a vote on the constitution." You can read Jim Murphy's sorry lying response HERE in this report
It is worth noting that most BBC reports that carry a negative impact are swiftly buried due to fear that the EU will shut the BBC down as reported HERE We also have this story from the UK Independence party claiming the Prime Minister has decided to fight a court case brought by a UK Independence Party member in which Brown is accused of breach of contract over a referendum on the EU Constitution. The case, to be heard at Brighton County Court, claims that the government promised a referendum on the European Constitution in its election manifesto of 2005. The court will be asked to decide whether the government's refusal to hold one is a breach of contract with all those who voted Labour in the 2005 General Election. The government has told the court it will defend the charge and has asked that the case be adjourned from February 7 because it says the hearing will take longer than the 15 minutes originally allocated. The case has been brought by one time Labour activist Stuart Bower, a former police officer who was later a constituency secretary for the Labour Party in Hove in 1997. Mr Bower, who left Labour and joined the UK Independence Party, said: "I am delighted that this case will be heard in an open court." "From the papers I have been sent, it seems that the Prime Minister is denying the pledge made in his government's manifesto. Surely this is a desperate act as everybody knows the commitment was made and that is why many people gave their votes to his party. "To me, it is a clear case of breach of contract. They made a written promise and broke it. That was a contract between the government and the people. "I also gather that the Prime Minister says his government is acting with the authority of the Crown. I wait with interest to see what their justification is for such an extraordinary claim." The Popular Alliance will update you as soon as we know more, this story has not reached the news media as yet, we doubt the BBC will dare run it for fear of upsetting their political masters in Westminster and the Fraudulent EU.
