The Popular Alliance would like to thank Brian and his team for the hard work over the last few weeks in the Stretton by-election

Unfortunately on this occasion we did not achieve our aim of getting our first borough councillor as a Conservative was returned to the vacant seat.

The results are as follows

Con 661 (36.89 %)

Lab 366 (20.42 %)

BNP 327 (18.25 %)

PA 233 (13.00 %)

LibD 205 (11.44 %)

Brian returned a very respectable 13% of the vote, however, both Brian and Craig are still on the parish council and will continue to work hard on local issues for the people of Stretton and continue to push for a representative seat in both borough and national elections.

We would like to thank all those who worked hard in the run up to the election, and all those who supported Brian by casting their vote in his favour.
