Criminal MEPs of Europe PDF Print E-mail

MEPThe corrupt and criminal organisation in Brussels is trying to cover up fraudulent offences within the EU which has now unfortunately spread to our domestic politicians in Westminster.

Taxpayers money is being used to pay families, non existent workers and other “non essential, non existent expenses”

Criminal activity on a scale which makes the £53 million Securitas bank robbery look like a sweet shop theft is being planned and executed by European MEPs to a tune of at least £100 million and even this may be an underestimate.

This does not take into account the billions that are never accounted for by the EU auditors who refuse to sign off EU accounts year after year as the money just dissapears into a big black hole never to be seen again.

We then have our own MPs in Westminster who can obviously see their EU counterparts getting rich quick and living in luxury, they have over the past few years been trying to catch up by buying second homes, employing non work family members and generally abusing the very generous expense allowances that most of us can only dream of.

The Popular Alliance can only call this corrupt and criminal behaviour in Europe as well as Westminster by its correct name of THEFT, and because it is on such a massive scale, we call for very harsh prison sentences, freezing of all assets and loss of all pensions for these thieving scumbags who have their grubby fingers firmly in the taxpayer till.

Both Brussels and Westminster are desperately trying to hush the whole thing up. In Westminster they are blocking attempts into making MPs allowances transparent, desperate cannot describe for the sheer panic caused by requests under the freedom of information act has had on these sleazers.

MPs have bought extra time before being forced to release the most detailed breakdown of their expenses so far.

The data relating to allowance claims for staff, second homes and travel was ordered for release after a long-running battle under the Freedom of Information Act.

The House of Commons authorities negotiated an extension to the deadline until after the Information Tribunal delivers its verdict on an appeal against a similar ruling.

They were given until last Wednesday to appeal against the more recent ruling by Information Commissioner Richard Thomas.

But the Commons Commission - the House's top management committee chaired by Speaker Michael Martin - has so far declined to say whether it intends to do so.

Mr Thomas said last month that there was a "legitimate public interest" in disclosing more details under each of the allowance claim headings.

Currently, only total annual figures are released by the Commons. They averaged £135,800 per MP last year.

Although the ruling relates only to claims in 2003/4 by several MPs - including Gordon Brown and Tony Blair - the Information Commissioner has let it be known that he expects the principle to be adopted across the board.

Mr Thomas's earlier ruling related specifically to claims under the Additional Costs Allowance, a £23,000 fund available to the vast majority of MPs to buy, or rent, and maintain a second home.

That case, appealed against by the Commons, was heard by the Information Tribunal, which presides over disputed FOI rulings, in a two-day sitting earlier this month. It heard how MPs could claim up to £400 a month shopping without receipts and could technically put an iPod bought from a supermarket on their expenses.

Europe is also trying to hide criminal activity as Euro MPs have been accused of "criminally abusing" a £100million expenses fund.

The money is supposed to be used by politicians to pay for staff, but a secret internal audit exposed alleged widespread irregularities.

British MEPs last night insisted their hands were clean - but they still face being embroiled in an inquiry by anti-corruption officers.

Senior politicians were accused of trying to cover up the report to avoid a scandal. But it is now likely to be handed over to OLAF, the EU's anti-fraud watchdog.

The abuses were revealed by British MEP Chris Davies, who has seen the report into a random audit of 167 payments.

He said the guilty should be jailed.

Each of the parliament's 785 members is entitled to spend up to £125,000 a year for assistants, a total of almost £100million.

The audit, however, without naming individuals, says MEPs have claimed thousands of pounds even though they do not employ anyone.

Huge sums were also allegedly funnelled into the coffers of political parties.

In an attempt to keep the report secret, only Euro MPs on the budget control committee have been allowed to see it.

They have to apply to enter a "secret room" protected by biometric locks and security guards.

They are not permitted to take notes and must sign a confidentiality agreement - but Mr Davies, who sits on the budget committee refused to be gagged.

Instead, he memorised crucial details and spoke out.

He said: "This report is dynamite. My first reaction was to laugh at the outrageous extent of the abuses. Then that feeling turned to anger...it's embezzlement and fraud on a massive, massive scale."

In another development, it emerged that MEPs had been warned in November last year by the European Court of Auditors that it had grave concerns about widespread abuse of MEP allowances.

British Labour, Tory and Liberal Democrat MEPs sought to distance themselves from the fraud allegations.

The full story on these criminal acts may be found HERE

Remember, these MEPs and MPs care NOTHING about you or the countries the proclaim to represent, they are nothing more than scum who rob the old, the infirm and those in need, theft is theft no matter how you plan to do it

Europe is a sham, a criminals only club, it always has been, and always will be, unless YOU do something about it.
