 ARE YOU ALSO:
SICK of the TORY / LIBDEM COALITION and their constant U-Turns ?
SICK of LABOUR and their incapability to conjure up any policies ?
Craig Chapman was recently elected as the new Popular Alliance party leader at the 2011 AGM. He takes over from Brian Buxton who led the party from its inception in 2004 when a number of like-minded souls decided that the anti-EU lobby was failing to see the bigger picture. During his time as leader, Brian has cut a distinguished figure, keen to remain loyal to his pledges as a Parish Councillor and also overseeing the party’s attempt to unite several like-minded parties in the run-up to the 2010 elections. Brian now takes over the role of Treasurer.
Craig is also one of the party’s founding members and has worked alongside Brian, also being elected as a Parish Councillor in the party’s name. A former army musician for 14 years, serving in Northern Island, Hong Kong and South Korea, Craig and his family live in Stretton near Burton on Trent, Staffs. He has worked as a Sales Engineer in air filtration for 10 years and continues to write and play music.
Craig comments,

“We have 3 main parties in this country, all led by a weak Liberal leaning, none of whom have the guts to make long term decisions for the good of the country, over the short term opinion polls on which their party politics supposedly survive.
We have a Parliament full of career politicians who have rarely had jobs that need to pay for themselves, let alone support the economy. The result of course, is a country that cannot pay for itself.
We have a government that is not doing what any of those who voted for them, voted for !
What alternatives do we have ? Vote for a single issue group or emigrate !!
UKIP, BNP, Greens etc will never form a government as they only concentrate on one issue.
Popular Alliance take the best common sense for the UK from wherever it can be found and offer a very wide range of policies that are first and foremost for the benefit of the UK.
UTILITIES – the country needs to reclaim a percentage of all the sold-off services, the profits heading overseas are bleeding us dry. We favour new methods of energy production to keep our country running, any green benefits are simply a bonus.
EUROPEAN UNION – not the single issue that UKIP might have you believe, it affects every aspect of our lives and our daily £58m payments rarely see more than 1/3 invested for our benefit, we simply fund the growth and competitiveness of our neighbours, as we become weaker. We don’t need a messy referendum, just vote us in and our manifesto will do the trick.
Trade with our European neighbours – YES of course
Ruled by the EU & their Human Rights Act – NO !!
BUSINESS – needs every bit of government help to boost our economy and pay for the massive costs of the public sector and to boost our exports. We have ground breaking manufacturing, tax and finance policies that can make Britain great again.
POLITICIANS – we’re not professional politicians, just cheesed off tax payers who have given up on trusting successive UK governments to lift our nation back to its place as a world leader
IMMIGRATION – needs to be controlled and only for the benefit of the UK, no-one accuses the USA and Australia of being racist, just practical and fair minded”
Please do have a look through our Aims and Policies, we hope you find yourself agreeing with many of them.”
We at the Popular Alliance look forward to hearing from you.
