Cludiant Cyhoeddus
Mae cludiant cyhoeddus yn ein hardaloedd gwledig yn warthus. Rhoddodd y Cynulliad basys bws i bawb dros 60 oed er mwyn eu hannog i ddefnyddio cludiant cyhoeddus. Ond fe wnaethant anghofio un broblem bwysig – mae angen bysiau er mwyn cyflawni hyn. Mae angen llawer mwy o fysiau nag sydd ar gael ar hyn o bryd er mwyn cynnig y gwasanaeth cyflym ac effeithlon y mae pobl Cymru’n ei haeddu.
Byddai system trenau un geldren gyflym o ogled Cymru i’r de yn sicrhau cyfleoedd gwaith i filoedd trwy ddarparu cyfleusterau teithio cyflym a chyfforddus am bris rhad. Gweler ein polisi trafnidaeth cyflawn.
Public Transport
Public Transport for our rural areas is quite frankly, beyond a joke. The Welsh Assembly gave the over 60s bus passes to encourage the use of public transport, however they forgot one vital problem, we need buses to run far more than at present to offer the fast, reliable and efficient service that the people of Wales deserve. The constant rises in fuel prices cannot force people to use public transport where it does not exist.
Perhaps a high speed mono rail system from North to South Wales would open up employment for thousands by providing fast, comfortable and low fare travel. Please note the main Popular Alliance Transport policy.
